May The Better Side Win

And yes! the better side did win in the 13 year olds tournament — even though it did make the opponent’s coach who had just paid for an all new jersey just for that game cry badly. Imagine that. Finally…the 10-11 year olds! after all the preparations… wait for it, wait for it… they lost! [...]

LEADER!

Now with the opening ceremonies of 10-11 year olds football tournament behind us and jerseys and shorts in the bag, all that the team has to think of is their game on Saturday. And that’s what they did. You bet they’re doing their best when they train for 4 straight hours — willingly.

Brand-New Lifestyle

Yeah, we spent all day for 10-11 year-olds team. Again. Even though there was other interesting stuff to add, I guess I’ll just mention those later on.

Knowledge Counts

Another training day for the 10-11 year olds today, one before their big first game on Saturday morning. And no, noone really important came today, therefore making the club manager a big fat liar. He shouldn’t think he got away with it really. Maybe Ardi forgets that fast but not me. He also brought a [...]

A Trip To Mystery Town

Today it all involved going to the Istanbul Football Federation Branch and fixing up the licenses for good. And picking up the match schedules and possibly match jerseys. Are We Friends?

So the big game for the 13-14 year olds was today. The first team won their 5th in a row game and qualified for the semi-finals as the first team (game ended in a 5-3 win). But the really better game was the second team’s, with much preparations and stuff. Everybody expected the opponents to [...]

Looking Suspicious, My Friend

So the big big training for the 10-11 year olds started at 9 am and went quite well, except having ONLY two balls for the entire 30-something squad is nowhere near enough and that was evident today. After that, I went back home for some rest but Ardi went to the scouts meeting thingy at [...]

We’re Friends

Yeah, we went to the field again, meaning that we will have gone to the field in all of this week, as the next two days we are guaranteed to go there. Besides that Ardi and I also had a one-hour shoot, penalty, crosses, passing exercise with players ALL from the team that’s the opponents [...]

I’m A Record-Breaker

Today was the 6th consecutive day of us going to the football field, making it a record we never had. Also if we continue to go there in the rest of week, that’s another record. What’s more important though is that the 10-11 year olds’ league team is coming together nicely. Yes, it is very [...]
