Not Just A Random Wannabe

After the Pasha trainings in the big field and training everyday I didn’t seem to have achieved anything since they outclassed me with their big field experience and equipment. But today, playing in a mini game for the first time since those trainings, not only me but everyone saw the difference as I beat Fatih [...]

Watch, Maybe You Learn Some

I watched a lot of Football today, yet played less than 30 minutes total. First the KMP kids team beating Güzelhisar yet again. And then the Ardi’s kids team training with lots of goals. And at last, a real game: FC Bayern – Salzburg. Tomorrow I need to think of how can I organize a [...]

They’ve Just Edged You Out!

Second training at Pasha and it went pretty much average/below average. Mostly because everyone there owns Professional or Half-Pro shoes, with me owning a not-so-professional alternative without nails or anything. That means even though I run better or just as well, they still get the edge by having the better equipment. Oh well. Apart from [...]

Back To…

Today we went back to many stuff, including but not limited to: Running — Yeah, as part of my staying fit for the big field exercises program, I ran 25 laps around the field with a 60%-80% speed level. Winning — After running we played 1 vs 1′s with Mustafa, Kadir and Deniz. I beat [...]

Taking It To Next Level

As planned, I showed up for the first non-official Pasha youth team training. It consisted of 6 players attending the training, including me and the team’s first choice goalkeeper. The training started with running, measured by team coach Kazim. And I tell you running around a big football field and keeping up with top players [...]

Preparing For The Preparations

Today instead of my new habit of training in the field every day, I opted for a bit of a lighter training. It was a set of training matches against a friend which I won all of them. 10-6 followed by a 10-5 and a 10-9. But that wouldn’t be a surprise cause I always [...]

Show It Off Please

Today morning instead of my regular small field running I decided to actually stay for the KMP friendly game against Davutpaşa which they won by a 5 goal margin. After the game, the team’s coach said they have 30 minutes left on their time so he decided to let everyone play and arranged a game [...]

A Tournament’s End

I started the day with a 45-min non-stop running around the field and then on the ball training, until 11:30. After that had some food and rested a bit. Then at 12:30 we gathered for the kids game and they lost 8-1 to the team they could have won 10-0 against. With everybody not doing [...]

Wasting Time & Procrastinating

Today I had a pretty much light training for an hour. Meanwhile as the kids prepare for their last game tomorrow, Ardi has now 3 promised website projects (2 of which being urgent) waiting. I wonder if he will ever go back to the computers business.

They Can’t Win!!

And yet again, in their 7th game the kids lost. 3-2 this time. In a game where they fell behind three times and equalised twice, they really could have scored at least 5 more goals to even win it. Ardi promised he would get the team a win this time, not even letting the club [...]
