Taking It To Next Level

As planned, I showed up for the first non-official Pasha youth team training. It consisted of 6 players attending the training, including me and the team’s first choice goalkeeper.

The training started with running, measured by team coach Kazim. And I tell you running around a big football field and keeping up with top players of one of the most promising teams of the youth league isn’t easy, but I managed to do just fine cause I had the everyday training for a full 2 weeks prior to this. Something else was also different there: in Yayla I was clearly the best player who could beat anyone, but when playing against these guys it was no easy walk in the park, it was difficult. And that’s what makes it more interesting. Cause if I were to train with people who are below my level all the time I would never get the chance of upgrading myself and playing like I want and get that 100%.

I’m also gonna appear in the Thursday training session with same people (or more) in the same place, same time.

Now with me joining the Pasha trainings, that takes the total number of players formerly training with Yayla and now training with Pasha to 6. A big number considering the fact that Demir Dizdar’s training sessions are empty now and he’s beginning to wonder why.
