Another Kind To Avoid

I was invited to the 11 vs 11 game today, organized by Mahmut the coach.

Last time I was invited by him, I was put in the left back and I was very angry about it. Ardi told me to give it another chance and go today too. And I did go, And I did regret it too. Even though I was put in left back AGAIN, I scored an individual goal which was also the most amazing highlight of the game, he still told me I was ‘bad’ and ‘can only beat little kids’. Well, helloooo the defender I took the ball from is almost my age and the keeper is 4 and a half years older. I don’t see where does the little kids reference come from, but I’m ready to challenge whoever this guy accepts as an adult.

And really, even I was amazed by what I did. taking the ball from goalkeeper in our own field, passing it to a team mate, of course he loses it to the opposition’s defender then I take it from him and dribble through, then also dribble the mentioned goalkeeper and cross the ball into the goal. I don’t know if I had ever played that relaxed in a big field before, it was almost like I’m playing in our home’s bedroom.

So anyway my decision is clear: I won’t ever go to Mahmut’s game even if he begs me. I mean, he’s a good guy and all but as far as coaching skills go he doesn’t understand too much.
