Dead Lock

Today I had put aside my injury at an 80% accuracy rate. Was pumped up for a great performance and really needed it too. Even though the new shoes haven’t opened up completely yet, I could pass, shoot and do most of the usual stuff I’d do. So the game starts, and I’m there in my favored position. Even though not my favored tactical layout, it’s still the best it can be. First half was the mixed possesions half. But second half was when we dominated 85% of the game and came close to scoring a goal 7 times. And 5 of those were my assists. One of them was a chance I had and missed. And another a flick from right from somebody else. Although it ended without goals at both ends, our team’s players were really satisfied with each other’s performances. So much to congratulate each other on the great gameplay. It only lacked a goal. Or two. But we can come more powerful in the future. Getting better and better.
